Roman Ruins - Tarragona

Sixty mile drive south of Barcelona lies this beautiful, ancient city of Tarragona.

This city was an extremely fascinating city filled with tons of medieval alleyways, Roman history and fresh Mediterranean life by the sea.

It still amazes me how the history of this cathedral still remains. Constructed in 1154 and declared a national monument in 1905.

AND then the beautiful happened The Tarragona Roman Amphitheatre.

Sitting at this site was mind-boggling. I mean, how beautiful is that view?

As always, {Giggles} I cant go to an unknown place or any place for that matter without getting some tasty food and delicious liquor.

Gracias mi amigos for the read and Ill be back sooner than you know. In the meantime, if you want to see more pictures on my day trip to Tarragona ... then visit my Facebook page to enjoy more.
