Hello there!

My name is Antoinette! I’m a 20-something year young gal from South Bend, Indiana {the U.S.} who for the past two years have been residing in my wonderful capital, Indianapolis. Having a strong passion for exploring places other than my residence, I have decided to study abroad. I’m a nursing major {nurse anesthetist concentration} working on a Spanish minor to complement it. Beginning September 1^st, I will be taking my dreams and putting them to reality. Barcelona, Spain .. here I come!

 

I will miss my family {Ma Mere especially}, my friends, loved ones and Kiteee {my cat} dearly during my eight months stay in Spain. This blog was created for you all in mind. I want to share my memories and experiences with my followers back home in hopes of gaining new ones. As you follow along you will get to know Antoinette as an EXPAT. You will be graced with not just the exciting elements of living overseas but witness my “out of comfort” points as well. 

I can promise you that I am no professional blogger or English school teacher. I can promise you that I am well aware of my grammatical errors and that my commas might not be in the correct place ... AND I can also promise you that I will try my hardest to keep your interest. I wish to captivate you. I want to show you that there is another side to the world that we live in. I wish to encourage you all to follow your dreams. I have dreamed for so long to study abroad and explore the world ... and now I'm one step "Closer to my Dreams." I wish to be a blessing! Know that I am a child of God and EVERYTHING I do and EVERYTHING I have and EVERYTHING I am is because of HIM! I'm just an ambassador for Christ and his words are a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path. I want HIM to continue to let HIS light shine through me for you ... for you to know that through HIM, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

♥ I enjoy the airport scene

♥ I could and would eat crab legs EVERYDAY! {no joke}

♥ I’m obsessed with make-up

♥ I’ve always wanted to visit Barcelona since the 2^nd “Cheetah Girls” movie

♥ I’m an iPhone, iPad, iMac fanatic

♥ I’ve had my cat since I was in the 2^nd grade {his name is Kitee}

♥ I’m a movie junky

♥ I would NEVER eat bananas, beans, or mushroom {non-negotiable}

♥ My niece {2 years old} is my heart

♥ I do not know how to tie balloons or trash bags with no string {giggles}

♥ I have a passion for gathering people together
